Advantages

The aerated concrete plug FFA is suitable for wood and chipboard screws in various diameters as well as for metric screws, thus offering a flexible choice of screws.
The spiral-shaped external thread cuts into the soft aerated concrete in a form-fitting manner. In addition, the plug expands when the screw is turned in. Secure and strong anchoring in the porous building material aerated concrete is guaranteed.
Thanks to the TX drive on FFA 8 and 10 and the hexagon socket on FFA 14, installation is easy without the need for special setting tools and with low setting energy.

Functionality

The FFA is suitable for pre-positioned installation.
The aerated concrete plug taps itself into the aerated concrete with a positive fit during the installation process.
When turning in the screw, the plug expands and anchors itself in the building material.
The required screw length is given by the plug length + fixture thickness + screw diameter.
Suitable for wood screws, chipboard screws and metric screws.
Use rotary drilling to create the drill hole.
For unplastered aerated concrete with a compressive strength of ≥ 6.0 N/mm², a larger drill diameter is recommended: FFA 8 ø 10 mm, FFA 10 ø 12 mm, FFA 14 ø 16 mm. Please observe the footnote below the load table.
